From Session to Exhibit
Over 40 and Fierce ends in a 2026 gallery exhibit in downtown Golden, where your image is printed and framed as fine art. Then it comes home: your $300 artwork credit goes toward the piece you'll live with for decades.

The Studio Day
You're welcomed into a private studio in Golden, serving women across Denver and the Front Range. Hair and makeup are done for you. Your prep guide means nothing about the day is a surprise. Wendy guides every pose, the pace, the breaks, the laughter, so you can relax into being photographed. Then, the same day, you see your finished images. Most women expect relief. What they describe instead is awe.

Leah has been photographing women since 2012, almost 15 years, and she has build her portrait studio on one belief: every woman deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated and to see herself through kinder eyes.
She lives for the moment a woman over 40 sees herself after hair and makeup and asks, with surprise, "Is that really me?"
Part styling, part hype girl, part self-love coach, part artist... Leah has spent over a decade creating a photo experience that doesn't have you faking confidence in front of the camera. You will actually feel confident, and walk out the door ready to take on the world.
Leah is an award winning photographer with over 300 five star reviews across different platforms. She is also a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, believer, friend, and compulsive crafter.
And yes. She does want to see pictures of your pets.

Women over 40, 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond, who want to celebrate this chapter with a guided portrait experience. No modeling experience and no confidence prerequisite.
No. Posing guidance is tailored to your body and directed through the entire session. Knowing what to do with your hands is Leah's job, not yours.
Our digital Dream Shoot Planner and discovery call cover wardrobe completely. Leah also keeps a glam closet for dresses size 00-38, shoes, and jewelry you can use. You can also bring your favorite outfits and she can fill any gaps.
Selected participants pay a $149 session fee instead of the regular $500 and receive the full campaign experience, including professional hair and makeup, access to our client closet, a fully guided photo shoot, same day viewing and ordering of your photos, and a special ticket price for our showcase. Albums, wall art, prints, and digital collections are sold separately at your reveal, with interest free payment plans available with $100 down. Leah will go over this in more detail on your discover call.
The campaign culminates in an open-house showcase at an event space in the KC Metro and will take place in early 2028 (date pending). Finger food, beer, and wine are provided as well as raffle items. Your photo will be displayed along with the other participants and after the event you will be able to take home your print.
The sessions occur Monday through Wednesday from 9AM-12:30PM in our private Kansas City photo studio.
Almost every woman who applies is nervous, about posing, about what to wear, about being the one who can't relax. You don't have to feel ready to apply. You only have to be willing to let Leah guide you. Another year of 'someday' is also a decision. Make this the year there's proof of you.
The Fine Print
Your $199 is a discount off the regular $399 session fee, not a product credit.
Albums, prints, and digital collections are purchased separately at your reveal, with interest-free payment plans (up to 6 months, 20% down).
Complete privacy by default, for the exhibit you approve a single image; every other stays yours alone.
Weekday sessions at the Golden, Colorado studio. Round three opens August 1, 2026, until 40 women are selected.
